CEBU CITY, Philippines — Moving forward with a shared vision for institutional growth and enhanced member services, the USC and Community Multipurpose Cooperative (USCC-MPC) successfully conducted its Strategic Planning Session on April 9, 2026.
The high-level planning assembly was held at the VICTO National Federation complex, located at Capitol Hills, Brgy. Calunasan, Cebu City. The event brought together the cooperative’s Board of Directors, committee chairpersons, and key management leaders to outline the organization’s roadmap for the coming years.
Charting the Path Forward
The primary objective of this year's strategic session was to evaluate current operational milestones and address the evolving socioeconomic needs of our members. By partnering with VICTO National—a premier federation dedicated to cooperative training and development—USCC-MPC leveraged expert insights to reinforce its internal frameworks, risk management strategies, and financial sustainability models.
Key areas of focus during the deliberations included:
- Digital Transformation: Upgrading IT infrastructure and web systems to deliver smoother, more secure digital transaction networks for our members.
- Enhanced Member Benefits: Refining loan products, credit facilities, and savings instruments to better serve both university employee clusters and broader community stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence: Streamlining administrative workflows and governance protocols to ensure maximum transparency, compliance, and efficiency.
Commitment to Community
As a multi-purpose cooperative deeply rooted in the principles of mutual self-help and social responsibility, the blueprints finalized during this session will guide USCC-MPC's operational direction and community-level interventions for the next three to five years.
The Board of Directors extends its gratitude to all the leaders and organizers who contributed to the success of this planning session. Together, we continue to build a more resilient, digitally agile, and financially empowering cooperative for the entire USC and local community.
